Kabul (May 20, 2017): At least 11 members of a family, including five children and five women were killed in a roadside bomb explosion in central Logar province of Afghanistan.
According to the details, the incident took place in Mohammad Agha district at the noon. District administrative chief Nasir Amin confirmed the incident and said at least five children and five women were among those killed.
He said the incident took place after a civilian vehicle struck an Improvised Explosive Device (IED), leaving all those on board dead. No group has so far claimed the responsibility of the explosion.
Mohammad Halim Fedayee, the provincial governor said the all the deceased were members of a same family and were heading to attend a wedding ceremony.
