Los Angeles(July 31, 2017): A van plowed into a group of people dining at a restaurant in Los Angeles, injuring at least nine people.
The victims include five men and three woman, ranging in age from 18 to 51. They were all taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A 44-year-old man was reportedly in critical condition. Three others, including a 30-year-old man, and two women aged 18 and 28, were listed as in serious condition.
Los Angeles Police Sgt. Dwayne Wilson told that two cars collided into another when one ran a red light. A third car then tried to avoid smashing into the cars in front of him by swerving out of the way, but ended up veering onto the sidewalk.
