Web Desk (August 05, 2017): India’s nightingale and legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar took to Twitter to wish ailing actor Dilip Kumar a speedy recovery as soon as she heard about his ill health.
The veteran actor who was admitted to the Lilavati hospital on Wednesday evening, after suffering from dehydration and a urinary tract infection is said to have been getting worst and if required may even need dialysis.
Taking to Twitter singer Lata Mangeshkar tweeted, “Mujhe news dekhkar pata chala ki Dilip Kumar ji ki tabiyat acchi nahi hai. Unki sehat mein jald sudhaar ho yehi meri Ishwar se prarthana. (After reading the news, I got to know about Dilip Kumar’s ill health. I pray to God that he recovers soon.) ”

Last seen on the big screen in ‘Qila’ in 1998, Dilip was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2015. He is known for films like ‘Devdas’, ‘Mughal-e-Azam’ and ‘Karma’.
