Pakistan Make Fourth Highest Score Against World XI

Lahore(September 13, 2017): Pakistan Cricket Team has made its fourth best score against World XI in first T20 match.

As both teams hit 32 fours and 13 sixes in the match. Babar remained on top as he scored 86 with the help of 10 fours and 2 sixes while Sohail Khan did best bowling as he took 2 wickets by giving 28-runs.

The spectators also enjoyed a lot of first T20 match played in floodlights at Gaddafi stadium between Pakistan and World XI. However, both teams collectively scored 376 in 40 overs game. With this Pakistan made its fourth highest score whereas the best score of green shirts is 203 runs against Bangladesh in T20.

In addition, both teams hit 19 boundaries each whereas Pakistan and World XI hit 6 and 7 sixes respectively. But Babar Azam hit most boundaries while Hashim Amla and Tim Paine hit 4 boundaries each whereas Darren Sammy smashed 3 sixes.

Azam was the only who scored half-century. He scored 86 off 52 balls with the help of 10 boundaries and 2 sixes.  Ahmed Shehzad and Babar Azam have made 122-runs in partnership of second wicket, which is second best partnership of Pakistan and World’s 10th for this wicket.

Further, Fakhar Zaman hit two consecutive boundaries of Morne Morkel first two balls while Morkel succeeded for taking Zaman wicket on his fourth ball. Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed did only stump on Shadab Khan ball in T20. Rumman Raees, Shadab Khan and Thisara Perera took  2 wickets each but gave most runs.
