Britain Calls on Myanmar Govt to End Violence Against Muslims

London(September 28, 2017): Britain has urged the Myanmar government to end the violence against the Rohingya Muslims.

This was stated by British State Minister for Asia Mark Field during a meeting with Myanmar’s State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi.

He also called on Myanmar to allow humanitarian access to those in need of aid.

Britain’s state minister became the first foreign minister to have visited Rakhine state since the atrocities against local Muslims escalated with more than 400,000 people fleeing to neighboring Bangladesh.
