Islamabad (July 31, 2017): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) nominee for the Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Monday contacted Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah to acquire support.
As per details, Shahid Khakan Abbasi requested the Opposition Leader to support him in election of leader of the house in the National Assembly.
Sources said that Shah refused to support PML-N candidate.
They said that Shah instead of assuring support to Abbasi asked him to support him (Shah) as he was also one of the candidates for the premiership. 
Meanwhile, senior PML-N leaders Abdul Qadir Baloch and Aftab Sheikh met Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah at his chamber.
The PML-N leaders reportedly requested Shah to support PML-N nominee for the premiership.
It is to be mention here that polling to elect a new Prime Minister will be held on Tuesday at National Assembly hall.
