Quetta (May 23, 2017): Home Minister Balochistan Sarfraz Bugti has claimed that huge terror network has been busted and arrested two terrorists including its important commander.
According to the details, the Balochistan government on Tuesday claimed to have apprehended the suspected mastermind of several major terrorist activities in the provincial capital.

While addressing a press conference in Quetta, he informed media that two colleagues of the alleged mastermind were also arrested by the security agencies.
“The main suspect is the commander of a banned militant group,” he added.
“Terrorists were involved in 24 terror related activities,” he said while briefing media in Quetta. Home minister, on the occasion, also released video of confessional statement of a terrorist.
“Security forces have foiled several terror attempts as high alert has already been imposed in entire province,” he said.
Home minister also claimed that security agencies got vital clue regarding kidnapping of secretary higher education Abdullah Jan and ” We are trying all out efforts for his safe recovery.”
Bugti vowed that provincial government will not take a sigh of relief till the end of last terrorist in the province.
During a video confession, played for journalists at the briefing, the suspect, identified as Saeed Ahmed alias Taqva, claimed that he was trained by Afghan and Indian intelligence agencies.
The suspect confessed to the killing of Barrister Amanullah Achakzai; the principal of a law college, Bilal Anwar Kasi; and the president of the Balochistan Bar Association, among others.
He also confessed to facilitating the Civil Hospital suicide bombing on August 8, 2016, which claimed the lives of more than 70 people, including 54 members of the legal fraternity.
The accused also facilitated the bombing at Shah Noorani shrine on November 13, 2016, in Khuzdar district.
Sarfraz Bugti, the provincial home minister, appreciated the security forces for busting the terrorists’ network.
The home minister said that Saeed Ahmed, one of the arrested commanders, was mastermind of the Civil Hospital attack, in which over 70 people were killed.
