Lahore (July 25, 2017): Police recovered a 15 years old child maid Sonia from the illegal confinement of renowned TV anchor Gharida Farooqi on the court’s orders.
The police claimed to have recovered the child maid from the residence of Gharida Farooqi. According to the details, Gharida Farooqi has allegedly detained a 15-year housemaid illegally at his residence and subjected her to physical torture.
Earlier, the father of child maid, Munir, move the court and prayed that her 15-year-old daughter had been illegally detained by TV anchor Gharida Farooqi at her home and also subjecting her to physical torture. Gharida Farooqi allegedly demanded Rs40,000 from the parents of Sonia for her release.
The court handover the child maid to his father.
