Rawalpindi (November 09, 2017): Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Thursday condemned Quetta attack wherein AIG Hamid Shakeel and two other police personnel were martyred.
According to Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor, the COAS condemned the attack on police convoy in Quetta today.

The Army chief lauded the sacrifices of police and other law enforcement agencies for peace. The DG said that the Army Chief had said the sacrifices of like DIG Hamid Shakeel would not go waste.
The DG ISPR tweeted: “Attack on Police in Qta condemned. COAS acknowledges contributions of Police/ LEAs for peace. Sacrifices like DIG Hamid shall not go waste.”
It is to be mentioned here that AIG Hamid Shakeel and two other police personnel were martyred and six other injured when a suspected suicide bomber hit the motorcade of Shakeel on Airport Road in Queta.
