Dar claims improvement in macroeconomic indicators 

Islamabad (May 19, 2017): Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that government’s reforms have yielded positive results and made possible to strengthen macroeconomic indicators and put Pakistan’s economy at right track.

He made these views in a meeting with Vice President of World Bank South Asian region Annette Dixon in Islamabad and also reviewed the development projects being continued with the cooperation of WB.

Welcoming the VP of WB in Pakistan Ishaq Dar apprised him that government’s reforms has made possible to establish macroeconomic strong.

“Now government focusing on getting high standards, comprehensive  and sustainable development as GDP growth rate has touched 10-year high 5.28,” he said adding that the development work on power projects being continued and hope 10000 megawatt electricity would be added in national grid that would assist to overcome load shedding.

with Vice President of World Bank South Asian region Annette Dixon lauding government efforts and reforms in Pakistan’s economy vowed that WB would continued its cooperation with Pakistan in development projects.
