Karachi (June 13, 2017): Police claimed to have arrested dozens suspects in overnight combing and targeted operations in different areas of the metropolis Karachi.
51 suspects were apprehended in combing and targeted operations in Singo Lane, Old Haji Camp, Bhim Pura and Sarya Gali, claimed police. Eidgah Police launched the operations to curb the miscreants.
Whereas nine other suspects were arrested during combing operations in Lines Area, Ibn-e-Sina and adjourning areas of Taj Complex.
Special Investigation Unit (SIU) arrested a target killer Nawab in Orangi Town. Police said the accused was wanted in may murder cases.
Police booked three drug paddlers including a foreigner in Nazimabad. In another raid, the security forces busted bike-snatchers’ gang in Karimabad. Two bike snatchers were arrested and many bikes were recovered in the raid, police claimed.
Paposh Nagar police on a tip-off detained a fugitive Nadir Shah. Whereas Pirabad police arrested three absconders in separate raids.
Police recovered a body from Meera Naka area of Lyari last night. Later, the body was identified as Ismail Baloch.
