Faisalabad, Pindi Bhattian, Shorkot (August 6, 2017): Seven people died and another six were injured in various traffic accidents in Faisalabad, Pindi Bhattian, and Shorkot cities.
In Pindi Bhattian, Two people were killed and another five were injured in a clash between car and passenger van here. The fatal accident occurred near Kot Sarwar Interchange on Motorway M-2 . The bodies and injured people were taken to District Headquarter Hospital here.

Meanwhile, in Faisalabad two motorcycle riders were killed and a third was seriously injured in a two-motorcycle clash near Chak 470 of Sumandri area here.
The two motorcyclists died on the spot while the third was taken to hospital in serious condition. Rescue sources attribute fatal clash to speeding. The seriously injured man was taken to Civil hospital.

Three persons died when a trawler ran over a car on Jhang Road near Adda Qasimabad in Shorkot. Two persons died on the spot while the third succumbed to injuries on his way to hospital. The trailer driver managed to flee after crushing the car riders to death.
