Colorful sculptures lined the streets of Valencia, Spain on March 18, 2016, as part of the Fallas festival. Visitors walked among the massive works of art, and then watched as massive field of celebratory fireworks was set off.
The festival culminates in the burning of these gigantic structures, which portray current events and personalities; the sculptures are burned in the streets as a tribute to Saint Joseph, the patron saint of the carpenters’ guild.
The visitors can be seen playing with fire without any fear of fire, however to avoid any untoward incident fire brigade department was alert.
