Former minister Hamid Saeed Kazmi released

ISLAMABAD: Former Minister Hamid Saeed Kazmi has been released from Adiyala Jail followed by released by Islamabad Supreme Court in Hajj Corruption case, while Hamid Saeed Kazmi thanked over his release, saying that the decision restored his confidence and he will announce next line of action after arriving in Multan.

Former Minister Hamid Saeed Kazmi was sentenced in Hajj corruption case and he had been detained in Adiyala Jail since 2013. Talking to media after his release from jail, Hamid Saeed Kazmi said that he is thankful to Allah for his release and the verdict has restored his confidence. Hamid Saeed Kazmi further said that corruption was not proved and he was not found guilty. He said that he will go to Multan and will announce his next line of action there.

Hamid Saeed Kazmi said that he did not receive any facility in jail, nor he was given B-class in jail and he was kept as a common prisoner.

Earlier, a large number of people gathered outside jail on the eve of Hamid Saeed Kazmi’s release, who welcomed the minister warmly with flowers.
