Govt Requests Interpol To Issue Red Warrant For Nadeem Nusrat

Report: Aftab Choudhary

Islamabad (July 31, 2017): The Federal government has formally requested to Interpol for the issuance of red warrant for MQM London leader Nadeem Nusrat, who is wanted in triple murder case of former MD K-Electric Shahid Hamid, his guard and driver.

FIA Sources told that government has sent the request to Interpol for the issuance of Red Warrant of Nadeem Nusrat on the orders of the anti-terrorism court .

The Sindh Home Department has already sent the request to federal government to issue the red warrant of Nadeem Nusrat through FIA, while after the interior ministry’s approval, FIA wrote letter to Interpol. The request pertained that the accused Nadeem Nusrat is absconder to Karachi police in triple murder and anti-terrorism court had already been issued his permanent warrants, therefore Interpol should also issue his red warrant to help in his arrest.

It is pertinent to say that main accused of Shahid Hamid murder case Solat Miraz had already been executed, however before his execution, he admitted that the direction of Shahid Hamid was given by MQM founder Altaf Hussain and Nadeem Nusrat.
