The cleaning out of Instagram account and replacing it all by “Alaikum salam” has prompted speculations that American actress and singer Lindsay Lohan has reverted to Islam.
Lindsay Lohan has spent a great deal of her time in United Arab Emirates last year and also traveled to Turkey to be a volunteer and an advocate for the refugees. She also spoke about the backlash she faced in the US for being “crucified me in America” adding that “they made me seem like Satan. I was a bad person for holding that Quran” on a Turkish TV show.
Replying to a Twitter message Lohan has said, “The Quran opened doord for me to experience spirituality , to find another true meaning. This is who I am.”
I befriended a lot of friends from Saudi Arabia after she moved to London one of whom gave her the Holy Quran she was pictured holding. “I was so happy to leave [America] and go back to London because I felt so unsafe in my own country. If this [Islam] is something that I want to learn, this is my own will”, Lohan has said.
