Hub, Sehwan, Hyderabad: Traffic Accidents kill 9, Injure 20

Hub/ Sehwan/ Hyderabad (July 9, 2017): Nine people including two women and a child girl died and another 20 were injured in two separate traffic accidents in Hub, Sehwan, and Hyderabad cities.

According to details four passengers died and another 11 were injured when a passenger coach fell into a ravine near Kundh Malir here.

Rescue teams and personnel of Coast guards arriving on the scene of accident have shifted bodies and injured travelers to the hospital.

Rescue sources attributed speeding for the deadly accident. According to hospital sources most of the injured are in critical condition.

Meanwhile, five people of the same family died and another four were injured when a speedy Mazda coach ran over a motorcycle rickshaw on Indus Highway near Lukky Shah in Sehwan. The speeding Mazda coach which was coming from Hyderabad crushed the motorcycle rickshaw which was on its way to Karachi from Sehwan.

Two women and a two-year-old child girl are among the five of the same family who died in the accident.

The injured people were taken to Abdullah Shah Medical Institute of Health and Science.

According to Rescue sources all the people who were killed and injured in the accident were residents of Karachi who were returning back home after offering respect at the shrine of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalanadar.

Police has impounded the Mazda coach and arrested the driver.

In yet another traffic accident five people including three women were injured in a car-van clash on Liaquat Ali Khan Flyover in Hyderabad.
