Quetta: Ahsan Seeks Political Unity For Secure Pakistan

Quetta (August 13, 2017): Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal appealed to all political parties to shun political differences for securing future of Pakistan.

Talking to media, after inquiring about health of those who injured in the blast at the Civil Hospital here Ahsan said that Pakistan is fighting a war against terrorism and it is imperative to ensure internal unity in our ranks to successfully fight the war against terrorism.

Earlier Ahsan had attended the high level emergency meeting chaired by Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri here to review law and order situation in the province in the wake of suicide bomb attack on a security force’s vehicle here yesterday.

Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri, Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal and Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Aamir Riaz had also earlier visited the Civil Hospital in Quetta. They inquired after the health condition of the people injured in the suicide bomb attack.

The Interior Minister is visiting Quetta in wake of the terror attack on security personnel and civilians. on the directives of Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

During his visit to Quetta, the interior minister will review security situation along with the provincial government and later brief the prime minister.
