A Japanese man finally talked to his wife after over 20 years. Though the man had not talked to his wife for a long 20 years he still continued living with her and his children three children- two daughters and a son.
According to details Otou Katayama stopped talking to his wife Yumi since she erked him 20 years ago. Despite Yumi’s attempts to draw Otou into talking he responds with wirther a nod or a grunt.
Couple’s 18-year-old son Yoshiki wrote to a TV show saying that he never heard his parents talking and asked it to do something. The TV managed to arrange a meeting between the couple at the park where they had first met children were also present.
The couple lives in Nara, southern Japan.
The husband finally talking to his wife said, ‘Somehow it’s been a while since we talked. You were so concerned about the kids.Yumi up until now, you have endured a lot of hardship. I want you to know I’m grateful for everything.’
Otou later explained that he has been giving her the cold shoulder out of jealously for the attention and care the children get.
“I was kind of… jealous. I was sulking about it. There’s no going back now I guess,” he added.
