Rain is likely in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Sargodha, Rawalpindi Division, Islamabad, Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan and FATA during next 24 hours, while the temperature is likely to remain at 40 degrees centigrade in Karachi during next three days.
According to Meteorologic Department, weather is cloudy in most of the parts of country. Strong rains with winds are likely in Kohat, Faisalabad, Lahore and Gujranwala Division. The most rain was recorded 30 millimeter in Parachanar, while the highest temperature was recorded 44 degree centigrade in Dadu.
Weather is likely to remain hot from April 22 to 25 in Karachi, while the temperature is likely to remain at 40 degree centigrade. Met Department has released heatwave alert in Karachi. According to Met Department, the air pressure at Karachi and coastal areas will block sea air, due to which hot weather is likely in Karachi during April 22 to 25 and temperature is likely to remain 40 degree centigrade. Hence weather is likely to change or heatwave likely to reduce till April 26. Met Department directed people to take precaution measures during strong heatwave. Drink plenty of water and don’t go outside unnecessarily.
