MQM-P Mulling to Postpone Crucial Press Conference

Karachi (November 8, 2017): Mutahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) is mulling to postpone crucial press conference after strong opposition by some of the senior leaders. It was expected that Farooq Sattar would announce to join hands with Pakistan Sirzameen Party (PSP),

The consultative meetings of MQM and PSP are being underway separately in their respective central offices.

Sources informed that the leaders of the both parties have decided in principle to join hands for the solution of Karachi problems.Sources said that Sattar has convened an important meeting of the party to take party leaders into confidence for joining hands with PSP regarding issues and problems of Karachi.

Sources said that an important meeting of PSP is also underway at its headquarters with its chief Mustafa Kamal in the chair. The party is also discussing the same issue.

Reports said that Farooq Sattar and Mustafa Kamal are likely to hold a meeting before a press conference to be addressed jointly by MQM-P and PSP leadership in the evening.

They said that in the joint press conference, reservations over census results will be expressed by both leaders. Prior to the press conference, Sattar has called a meeting of party high command at its head office in Bahadurabad.
