Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) fielded Begum Kulsoom Nawaz for by-election on NA-120 Lahore which had fallen vacant after the disqualification of Nawaz Sharif.
On Friday, PML-N leaders Senator Asif Kirmani and MNA Captain Safder submitted Kulsoom Nawaz nomination papers for the by-elections.
Talking to media after submitting nomination papers, Kirmani said that decision to field Kulsoom Nawaz in the by-elections was taken after consultation in the party.
He added that the whole Pakistan belonged to Nawaz Sharif and Lahore was his fort.
He said that no one can oust Nawaz Sharif from Pakistan’s politics. He added that people’s court had rejected the SC’s decision to disqualify Nawaz Sharif.
“Nawaz Sharif was ‘Sadiq’ and ‘Ameen’ and he is ‘Sadiq’ and ‘Ameen’ even today.
