Lahore (September 14, 2017): With the polling just three days away for by-election the election campaigns have touched the peaks in National assembly’s NA-120 constituency here.
PTI has finalized arrangements for a rally scheduled to start at 4 p.m. a Charing Cross to Data Darbar which will be led by party chairman Imran Khan.
Meanwhile, Election Commission has directed IG Police to stop PTI from staging rallies in NA-120 constituency of the National Assembly where by-election is scheduled to be held on September 17.
Taking out rallies within NA-120 constituency is a violation of the Code of Electoral Conduct and all such political activities should be stopped in NA-120, EC sources said.
The sources also said that EC’s order has come amidst the news that chairman PTI Imran Khan will be leading a rally in the constituency. The EC has also issued directions to the PTI telling Imran that he should avoid attending public rallies and meetings in the constituency.
