Lahore (September 20, 2017): The National Accountability Bureau has written letter to Chief Commissioner Islamabad and provincial secretaries to take steps to halt sale and transfer of Sharif family’s assets and heir.
According to the details, NAB Lahore has written letter to Chief commissioner Islamabad, chief secretaries of all four provinces and directed to take proper measures to make sure to stop transfer and sale of heir of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Hassan Nawaz, Hussain Nawaz and Maryam Nawaz.
Earlier, today the National Accountability Court (NAB) has filed appeal against Lahore High Court decision to close NAB case regarding Hudaibiya Paper Mills in Supreme Court today.
The anti-corruption watchdog has filed the appeal in the apex court pleading it to set aside LHC decision to close the NAB case against Sharif family members in Hudaibia Papers and allowed it to reopen the case.
In its appeal, NAB said that new evidences had come to forth in the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) report.
NAB has named Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz as respondents in the petitions.
On September 15th, NAB Spokesperson Asim Ali Nawazish had announced that the Bureau would approach the SC for filing of a Civil Petition for Leave to Appeal (CPLA) in the Hudaibiya Paper Mills case.
