Lahore (November 5, 2017): Ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s consultations with the party leaders over the prevalent political situation continue at his residence in Jati Umra.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif landed at Allama Iqbal International Airport earlier today after London visit during which he met Kulsoom Nawaz, who is undergoing medical treatment there and inquired about her health.

According to sources, Nawaz has assured the hierarchy of his party PML-N that a policy would soon be adopted to resolve all the differences within the party.
It may be mentioned here that Shahbaz Sharif have been rejecting all news about any differences within the party.Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq, federal Minister Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique, Chaudhary Munir, and many other important leaders of the PMLN called on Nawaz at Jati Umra. During meetings with the party leaders future strategy to help resolve the differences within the party and also over NAB references against Nawaz, both the sons, daughter Maryam, and her husband Capt (r) Safdar were discussed.The PMLN leadership has decided to initiate election campaign amidst the similar campaigns of PTI and PPP already underway. The party leadership has agreed to launch a mass contact campaign. According to PMLN sources the first public meeting in this regard will be held in Abbottabad while announcements for other public rallies would be announced after that.The PMLN leadership has also agreed to focus its attention on souther Punjab where PTI has also running an election campaign. It may be mentioned here that talking to media at Jati Umra along with Nawaz Sharif Saad Rafique declared general elections in national interest and had also warned that failure to carry out constitutional reforms could delay general elections next year. He had also asked all the political parties to resolve the issue pertaining to creation of new electoral constituencies.
Talking about population census Saad called the attitude of PTI and PPP about population census hard to understand while PMLN has accepted it.Meanwhile, talking to media at Wah Cantt former federal Interior minister Nisar Ali Khan referring to installation of a technocrat government had said that the country needs stability while the country is facing internal and external threats that need to be fought. Respecting the opinions and electoral mandate despite differences as well as democracy, contacts, and coordination between institutions are necessary to fight these internal and external threats, he added.
Calling Shaikh Rashid by name Nisar lashed out at him saying that “only he could read future not me”. However, those riding fast horses are not sincere to the country, he added.
