ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan on Saturday said that security at Sehwan was sole responsibility of provincial government.
He urged media to completely black outs terrorists organizations and their representatives.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Nisar said that media had the most crucial role to play in disseminating the credible information keeping in view the national interest.
He said that incidents of terrorism had significantly declined due to effective security measures taken by the government during last three years.
Referring to terrorist incident in Sehwan, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said maintenance of law and order in Sindh was the sole responsibility of the provincial government for which Federal Government should not be maligned.
He urged media to focus on promoting national cohesion and courage among the people.
Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan said it is very important for the media to black list the terrorist organizations and do not air any content glorifying militancy.
He said since the adoption of National Action Plan (NAP) to this day, the Government has focused on sharing and discussion with all stake holders including the media.
