Pak Army Effectively Responded Indian Firing at LoC: ISPR

Rawalpindi (July 8, 2017): Pakistan Army said that it responded effectively Indian Army’s unprovoked firing from across Line of Control (LoC) in in Chirikot and Satwal sector.Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement issued here said the Indian army used small arms, heavy weapons and mortars to shell areas along LOC in Chirikot and Satwal sector.

The statement added that Pakistan Army troops effectively responded to Indian unprovoked firing.It added that two Individual embraced shahadat including a girl and three citizens were injured.

Earlier, two civilian including a woman were martyred and five other injured when Indian Army again resorted to unprovoked shelling on villages along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rawlakot’s Abbas Poor and Nakial sectors.

As per details, the Indian Army once again resorted to indiscriminate shelling on civilian population in Abbas Poor Sector in Rawlakote along LoC.

As a result two civilians were martyred and four others injured.  The martyred were identified as Muhammad Sharif and Faiza Bibi while the injured are Mahnoor Tariq, Habiba Siddique, Riasat and Rizwan.

The Indian Army also resorted to indiscriminate firing in Nakial Sector in Kotli AJK. As a result a man was injured seriously.

Pakistan Army responded the aggression befittingly and silenced the enemy’s guns.It is to be mentioned here that in recent months scores of civilians have been martyred in unprovoked Indian firing from across LoC on civilian populations along the LoC.

India is continuously violating the 2003 ceasefire agreement since the Hindu nationalist Modi has become Prime Minister.
