Pakistani Citizen Who Died In UK Buried In Jhelum

JHELUM: Pakistani citizen who died in Birmingham – UK, Nasrullah, following heart and acute organ failure was buried in Jhelum on Sunday.

Funeral prayers of the deceased was offered in his hometown Chappran village situated in suburbs of Jhelum that was attended by a large number of citizens.

Nasrullah grabbed public attention through AbbTakk News efforts when he was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham following his disease while doctors denied life-saving transplant at the time to the terminally-ill Pakistani citizen.

AbbTakk News broadcasted his video message seeking support from Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG-ISPR) to make arrangement for his family including wife and two of his children to United Kingdom (UK) as he wanted to meet them for the last time.

Following the message, DG-ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor took notice and made arrangements for the family to travel to UK. AbbTakk News’ efforts bear fruit when the family reached Birmingham and met ailing Nasrullah.

Nasrullah in his final moments of life expressed thanks to Pakistani government, UK and AbbTakk News for their special efforts to fulfill his last request.

Later, Nasrullah passed away on February 14, two weeks after reuniting with his family.
