PCB All Set to Take Legal Action Against BCCI: Sethi

Lahore (September 29, 2017): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Najam Sethi has said that the board all set to take legal action against Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) over denial of scheduled series.

PCB Chairman Najam Sethi said that will sue India for $70 million dollars over violation of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). He said they had hired national and international lawyers to sue India.

Sethi said that they will prove Pakistan one of the best country for international cricket in the ICC meeting in New Zealand.

PCB and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in 2014, under which the two countries were supposed to play six series in eight years.

Earlier, Sethi had said “Two of those six have already fallen through; it does not look like the third one will happen either,” he said.

“Therefore, we are left with no option but to pursue legal action against India,” the PCB chairman added.
