Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has formed a three-member panel for investigating suspended players Khalid Lateef and Sharjeel Khan in allegations over spot fixing in PSL. The tribunal will begin investigations from two players next week.
The tribunal will be headed by Justice (r) Asghar Haider with former chairman PCB Tauqeer Zia and former Test cricketer Waseem Bari as members.
The two players affiliated with Islamabad United were suspended and sent back to Pakistan from at the beginning of the second edition of the PSL over allegations of contacts with the bookies. Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Lateef were given charge sheet by the PCB later.
Sharjeel and Khalid have rejected all the allegations and insisted that they are innocent.
