PCB provides mobile information of players involved in match fixing to FIA

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has provided the mobile phone date of five cricketer involved in match fixing after initially had refused to access.

The data has been handed over to Federal Investigation Agency while after the PCB request interior minister Ch Nisar ordered the FIA to investigate the match fixing scandal. FIA called Khalid Latif, Muhammad Irfan, Sharjeel Khan, Shahzaib Hassan and Nasir Jamshed to record their statements.

Khalid Latif and Muhammad Irfan have recorded their statements today while Nasir Kamshed will record its statement later after returning from London as British national crime agency has confiscated Nasir Jamshed’s passport and put his name on ECL.

Although PCB had decided not to share information with any state investigative institution till the completion of its own probe but now PCB decide to share information with FIA to rapid proceeding of the case.
