New York (September 21, 2017): Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will address the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly in New York tonight.
The Prime Minister will enunciate Pakistan’s position on key international issues, including the Jammu and Kashmir dispute.
He will inform the world body about Pakistan’s successes in the economic field and in fighting terrorism and extremism.
He will apprise the international community of Pakistan’s successes in pursuing its economic and development objectives and highlight its commitment to peace and security in the region.
He said unfortunately UN charter was not implemented in letter and spirit. He said resolution of Kashmir and Palestine issues were vital for peace. PM Abbasi expressed great grief and sorrow over the casualties in Mexico tremor.
