PM, other leaders condemn Parachinar blast

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and other political leaders have strongly condemned the blast at a vegetable market in Parachinar area that killed 20 people and injured over 50.

The Prime Minister while condemning the blast directed the concerned authorities to ensure immediate treatment to the injured.

Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while condemning the blast urged people to support PPP for complete eradication of terrorism and extremism from the country. He also criticized the government for what he said failure to eliminate terrorism.

Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan also condemned the gruesome incident that claimed many human lives. He added that attack on innocent people was not acceptable, saying that those involved in blood letting were enemies of the nation.

He added that the incidents needed to be investigated from all angles and the elements involved in such incidents should be made an example for others.

The Minister while expressing sympathies with the families of those killed and injured in the terrorism incident directed the concerned authorities to submit a report regarding the blast.

It is to be mentioned here that a bom blast at the Sabzi Mandi (vegetable market) in Kurram Agency’s Parachinar area on Saturday morning killed 20 and injured over 50.

Meanwhile, Chief M inister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif while strongly condemning the blast expressed sympathies with the families of victims and injured. He said that coward incident of terrorism could not weaken the resolve of the nation.

Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Senator Sirajul Haq also condemned the blast and expressed sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the terror incident. He prayed to Allah Almighty for quick recovery of the injured  and expressed sympathies with the bereaved families.
