Two PSP Activists Shot Dead in Orangi Town

Karachi (July 17, 2017): Two  worker of Pakistan Sirzameen Party (PSP) was gunned down in Orangi Town, Karachi, and other sustained injuries as PSP termed it a conspiracy to create unrest in the city.

According to police four armed persons riding bikes entered in Orangi Town No.7 and opened fire indiscriminately on the persons sitting outside the home, in resultant both were injured critically. One person identified as Maulana Nadeem could not be succumbed to his injuries while injured Rashid being treated in Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

Later both were identified as the workers of PSP.

Following the incident,  the officials and workers of PSP have gathered outside the Abbasi hospital and termed the incident an attempt to create unrest in the city. PSP leader Iftikhar Alam said that Maulana Nadeem was one of the senior worker of the party while the condition of Rashid was also critical. While in another attack within 6 hours, one more PSP activists was killed in the area.

However, PSP leaders demanding the arrest of killers appealed the workers to stay calm.
