Ghotki (September 26, 2017): An influential feudal lord auctioned 12-year-old girl student resident of district Obaro here in Rahim Yar Khan for Rs 400,000 where the 5th Class girl was physically abused daily.
Telling the media about her plight and suffering helpless poor grieving mother of the young girl Shamim Solangi said that her daughter who was kidnapped from Muslim Colony has been purchased by an influential feudal lord of Rahim Yar Khan.
The grieving mother further informed that her abducted daughter availing a chance contacted her by cell phone and told her that she is being physically abused two to three times a day. The powerful feudal lord is keeping my daughter imprisoned and is demanding Rs 400,000 to have her returned.
Shamim Solangi told the journalists that being poor she and her family could not afford to pay the money to the influential feudal lord who is keeping her daughter imprisoned. We have approached the police but the police officers refused to extend any help to get my daughter freed.
The poor mother appealed to Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah to issue orders for the recovery of her daughter from the personal prison of the powerful feudal lord.
