Shaikh Threatens to Approach SC Against PM in LNG Reference

Gujranwala (August 2, 2017): Chief of Awami Muslim League Shaikh Rasheed has said that he will approach Supreme Court against Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi over what he alleged Rs 200 billion fraud in LNG reference of National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

Talking to media here after offering condolence to a friend over the demise of his mother Rasheed also predicted that once the Hudaibiya case opens as per the order of the Supreme Court the Sharif brothers and their children will be in jail.

Criticizing the newly elected Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi for seeking the blessings of the disqualified and ousted former prime minister Nawaz Sharif Rasheed said that Khaqan should had gone to Quaid’s mausoleum to pay his respects and offer prayers but instead he went to political sepulcher of Nawaz Sharif.

Demanding opening of cases closed by NAB Rasheed said that when he came out of the National Assembly after yesterday’s session there were two thousand men strong mob to attack him physically.

Referring to Nawaz Sharif’s disqualification from the apex court Rasheed said that thus far just there has been just one coffin but more revelations would be coming out in times to come.

I am taking NAB’s LPG reference to Supreme Court, he reiterated. I had informed Speaker National Assembly about the Rs 200 billion fraud in the LPG scandal.

This is an era of thugs, gangsters, criminal godfathers, and Sicilian Mafia who want to spark and spread anarchy in the country.

Replying to a question Rasheed said that how is it possible for Shahbaz Sharif to remain Chief Minister Punjab and still contest by-election from NA-120.

Hailing chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Tahirul Qadri’s decision to come back to the country at this point in time Rasheed said that he will meet him soon.
