The Sindh Assembly has passed amended local bodies bill 2016 in majority amid opposition ruckus and protest on Wednesday.
Sindh assembly session commenced in the chair of speaker Siraj Durani and soon after the members of ruling Pakistan Peoples Party have tabled the local government amended bill 2016 but it was met with harsh reaction by combine opposition parties, including MQM, as they chanted slogan against the bill and government but ruling party did not pay heed to them and passed the bill immediately.
The opposition rejecting the bill torn the copies of the bill and chanted the slogan before the speaker chamber continuously that enforced the deputy speaker, Shehla Raza to adjourned the session for 10 minutes but she later postpone the session till Friday.
