Sharjeel, Khalid deny match fixing allegations

The key players in match fixing scandal in Pakistan Super League (PSL) Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif categorically denying match fixing allegations decided to stick their stance of not involved in fixing and they started consultation with their lawyers in this regard.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has already been given charge sheet after recording their statements following their suspension on February 10 and given time of 14 days to submit their reply.

Duo involved in match fixing have the stance that they met with some particular persons but had not accepted their match fixing offer and meeting of any one was not a crime while some of other players who met them yet playing PSL.

Source said that both informed PCB that they met the person only taking them as fan not bookie and as they know their plan both left them without any further deal.

“If PCB has evidence against them, it should be disclosed before the public but they will not accept any kind of pressure in this connection, ” he said. v
