Sindh will be affected most for water crisis: CM Sindh

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has warned that there will be a serious water crisis in the country and Sindh will be the most affected province.

Addressing a press conference in Karachi, Sindh Chief Minister accused that the water crisis is due to mismanagement of Federation, as Tarbela and Mangla Dams are on dead levels which is the first time that both dams have come to dead level.

CM Sindh said that Federation is not doing justice with Sindh, adding that the mismanagement has crossed all limits. Mangla Dam is also empty and Sindh will be affected badly with the decline of water levels in both dams. He leveled allegation that Federation is trying to stop installing power plant in Sindh.

He urged Ministry for water and power to resolve the water issue. CM Sindh told that reserving water is not a good strategy.

Murad Ali Shah said that Sindh is badly affected with water shortage and it is feared that the country will face a serious water crisis.
