Usman Khattak Appointed As IG Punjab

Lahore July 17, 2017): Lahore (July 17, 2017): Captain (Ret) Usman Khattak, who was performing duty as interim IG for over four months, has been appointed as Inspector General Police Punjab.

Lahore High Court had been ordered the Punjab government to appoint permanent IG.

Usman Khattak will retired from its slot on November 1, 2017. He was given interim IG charge on April 11.

Usman Khattak, after assuming the charge ordered the posting and transfers of the high level officials. According to notification, Ismail Amjad SSP operations Lahore, Faisal Mukhtar AIG monitoring and crime analysis investigation branch Lahore, Fazal Hussain Bukhari SDPO Sadar Vehari, Khalid Mehmood Bhatti DSP Headquarters Bahawalnagar,   Abdul Qayyum SDPO Daska, Lal Muhammad Khokhar SDPO city Kasur, Muhammad Arshed Ali DSP organized crimes Shekhupura, Naeem Aziz DSP security division Lahore, Iftikhar Ahmed DSP legal one Okara posted and transferred.
