KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan Chief Farooq Sattar has said that his party did not march a simple rally, but called that ‘Ralla’, adding that was MQM pushed to walls then the situation would be same as NA-246, while he said that MQM to approach Supreme Court for Mayor Karachi powers.
MQM Pakistan marched rally from Liaquatabad to Quaid-e-Azam shrine, while addressing the rally, Farooq Sattar said that if census remained correct then next Chief Minister of Sindh will be from MQM Pakistan.
He said that was told not to take August 23 lightly, adding that MQM Pakistan has nothing to do with miscreants.
Addressing the rally, Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar criticized PPP, saying that provincial government destroyed Karachi in eight years.
Khawaja Izhar-ul-Hassan, while addressing the rally, said that MQM Pakistan lives in hearts, but opponents cannot understand, adding that Sindh government itself is dangerous for Sindh.
MQM Pakistan leader Amir Khan said that if MQM did not acquire its rights, then there will be talk of province in Sindh. A large number of women and children participated the rally.
