KARACHI: Law enforcement agencies booked 11 Afghan nationals among 47 suspects from various areas of the county under Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad on Saturday night.
According to the details, police and intelligence agencies in a joint operation arrested 12 suspects in Dunyapur. While 23 other suspects were arrested in Mankera. LEAs recovered weapons form the suspects and conducted biometric verification of the citizens in Mankera.
10 Afghans and a suspect were arrested in Karachi. As per details, Napier police arrested three Afghans and a suspect. Whereas six other illegal Afghan immigrants were arrested from Soldier bazaar, Shahrah-e-Faisal and Bahadurabad.
On the other hand, Islamabad police, rangers and intelligence agencies in a joint operation arrested an illegal Afghan immigrant among 12 suspects and recovered weapons from their possession. Around 250 houses and 400 people were searched in the joint operation in Bhara Kahu. Frontier Constabulary (FC) on a tip-off recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition in Nushki.
