Quetta: 11 candidates of senate election elected senators unopposed from Balochistan vacant general seats including former caretaker premier Anwar Ul Haq Kakar as an independent candidate.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Syed Al-e-Nasir and Agha Shah Zaib Durrani elected senators unopposed on the general seats.
The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Sardar Umar Gorgage, the Natioanal Party Jan Buledi also elected senators without contesting the elections.
The Awami National Party (ANP) Aimal Wali Khan also elected unopposed senator from Balochistan.
The Jamial Ulma-e-Islam Fazal (JUI-F) Ahmed Khan also elected senator unopposed on the general seat.
The PPP Bilal Mandokhel and the JUI-F Molana Abdul Wasay elected senators unopposed on the technocrats seats.
The PML-N Rahat Jamali and the PPP Husna Bibi elected senators unopposed on the women seats from Balochistan.
