PARACHINAR: In a decisive move to stabilize the region, Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi directed the deployment of 1,200 additional Frontier Corps (FC) troops to Parachinar on Friday to ensure law and order.
Responding to the escalating tensions in Kurram caused by clashes between rival tribes, 29 FC platoons, previously stationed in Islamabad for security duties, were swiftly mobilized to Parachinar. The deployment underscores the government’s commitment to restoring peace and protecting the region’s residents.
Under the Interior Minister’s special instructions, the civil armed forces have been tasked with managing the volatile situation and preventing further unrest. Authorities remain vigilant, emphasizing that safeguarding the lives and properties of citizens is their top priority.
The move has been welcomed by local communities, who hope for a swift resolution to the ongoing conflicts and a return to stability in the area.
