The 120th death anniversary of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan is being observed today.
The great scholar and statesman laid the foundation of Aligarh College which later up-graded to university level.
Sir Syed Ahmed Khan played a major role in the awareness of the Muslims of Sub-continent in respect of modern education.
He died on this day in 1898 in Aligarh.
