RAWALPINDI: 13 illegal Afghan immigrants among 26 suspects were arrested from different areas of Punjab and Islamabad under, said Inter Services Public Relations.
ISPR spokesperson said that law enforcement agencies conducted raids in Lahore, Dera Ghazi Khan, Sadiqabad, Attock and Islamabad under operation Radd-ul-Fasaad.
Huge cache of arms, ammunition and explosive material were recovered from the suspects, he said and added that the operations were jointly conducted by police, Punjab Rangers and intelligence agencies.
