Police and intelligence agencies joint operation killed at least eight alleged terrorists including top commander of Al-Qaeda in Pakistan during a raid in Multan,while all the bodies have been shifted to the Nishtar Hospital.
The police and security agencies personnel conducted a operation on a tip off in Multan near Chenab River killing eight terrorist on the spot while three of them succeeded to flee.
The terrorists who were killed identified as Al-Qaeeda commander Tayib alias Abdul Mateen, Muneeb Razaq, Zeeshan alias Abudajana and others.
Suicide vests, AK47 rifles, pistols and hand grenades were recovered from their hideout, killed terrorist Muneeb Razaq alias Abdul Rehman and Zeeshan alias Abudajana were involved in killing of Brigadier Fazal Qadri in Sargodha and these terrorists were gathered to meet his leaders to plan an attack on government schools in South Punjab and all were killed in the operation.
The killed terrorist Tayib alias Abdul Mateen was founder of Al-Qaeeda in Pakistan and master mind of attack in parade line in Rawalpindi and also member of supreme body of Al-Qaeeda. He helped the organization financially and logistically.
All the bodies of the terrorists have been shifted to Nishtar Hospital.
