14 Indian-backed terrorists eliminated in Balochistan CTD operations

QUETTA: The Balochistan Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) announced that two separate operations in Quetta and Barkhan resulted in the deaths of eight and six militants, respectively.

In Quetta’s Darakhshan neighborhood, CTD personnel raided a suspected hideout, resulting in a fierce gunbattle that claimed the lives of eight terrorists believed to be affiliated with banned organizations. During the firefight, three CTD officers sustained injuries and were promptly transported to a hospital for medical care. Authorities recovered a significant cache of weapons and ammunition from the militants’ hideout. The area was cordoned off for further searches and investigations.

Barkhan Operation:
In Rakhni area of Barkhan, security forces engaged and killed six terrorists involved in planning disruptive activities. All personnel involved in this operation remained safe. The security forces also seized arms and ammunition from the militants’ possession. Initial reports link the slain terrorists to ongoing efforts to destabilize regional peace.

Authorities continue to investigate the motives and affiliations of the militants, with initial indications suggesting their connection to banned groups.
