RAWALPINDI: 140 PTI Workers appeared in Anti-Terrorism court following November 26 protests.
A total of 140 workers from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party made an appearance in an Anti-Terrorism Court today in connection with the protests that took place on November 26.
The suspects are set to be transferred to the jurisdiction of the Kohsar and Tarnol police stations in Islamabad for further legal proceedings.
The Tarnol police have incorporated 59 individuals into their investigation, while the Kohsar police have listed 81 suspects. These arrests stem from protests held on November 26, which led to significant unrest in the capital.
The cases against the PTI workers have been filed under various anti-terrorism laws, reflecting the government’s stance on maintaining order during political demonstrations.
