The Federal Board of Revenue reached near to Tax collections target for the first time in 10 years period. According to sources, government has kept tax collections by Rs 3,104bn in which Rs 3080bn has collected as tax.
According to FBR source, FBR after a decade has reached for tax collection target. According to provisional data FBR has collected by Rs 3,080 tax collection, whereas tax collection target was fixed by Rs 3,104bn to FBR by government.
All sub-offices and designated bank branches still operation for tax collections, whereas collections is likely to increase after coming complete tax collections data. In this regard media would be informed after releasing complete details by finance minister.
